I can hardly believe Spring is here and there are only two and half months of school left.

Everyone has been doing an awesome job collecting Box Tops this year. We have almost reached our $4,000 goal. We only need to collect 8,000 more Box Tops to hit this goal. Since our Pizza Party contest brought in 12,596 Box Tops, we are having another contest. The contest this time will be an Ice Cream Party with all the toppings. The class that brings in the most Box Tops by June 1st will win!

Please watch the expiration date on the labels, I cannot send in the expired ones.

Thanks to all the parents who scanned the special barcode at Kroger this year. The awards program is over and our school earned at least 402,526 points. I will be ordering supplies, books, and teaching aides for the teachers to use with our students. If you did not participate in the program this year, you will have a chance next school year.

I am still collecting Tyson A+ labels. I need about 16 more labels before I can mail them in. If you have any at home please send them in to your teacher.

Wow, we have been getting a lot of Campbell's labels this year. We are currently banking those points so keep sending them in. They do not expire.

Box Tops for Education: You can go to their website www.boxtops4education.com and shop the Marketplace. The school will receive a percentage of what you buy. The website also has coupons toward the purchase of Box Tops products. Also on the website, you can track how our school is doing.

Campbell's Soup Labels: We used these labels to purchase equipment and supplies for the school.

Kroger Plus Card: This is a free program offered by Kroger. For every dollar you spend, we get one point. The points add up quickly. Last year, I was able to order 660lbs of school supplies for the teachers. All you have to do is scan the school's barcode once with your Kroger Plus card and they do the rest. More information will be coming home soon on this program.

Tyson A+: This program gives the school twenty four cents for every label turned in. The label is found on the end of Tyson chicken nugget boxes and the part you rip off on the bags of chicken. If you save these just send them in with your child.

Target Credit Card: With this program, you need to designate Battlefield Park Elementary School as your school to support and Target will give the school a percentage of your spending.

All these programs benefit the PTA, which in return benefits our children and the excellent education they are receiving. So, please start clipping those Box Tops and Campbell's.
